Thad R. Shumway, President

Thad Shumway is the President of North Bay Energy. With over 30 years of experience in Natural Gas Production and Marketing, Thad has become an expert in the area of production and marketing. Throughout his career, he has been involved in many aspects of the Energy business, from leasing and land analysis, to contract creation and rate negotiations, and daily gas sales and scheduling responsibilities. Thad is also a member of MOGA (Michigan Oil and Gas Association), where he resides on the Board of Directors, as well as being a member of the Transportation and Marketing sub-committee.

Jonathan Crocker, Scheduler, Analyst

Jonathan Crocker holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan State University. Jonathan has built up experience in the Natural Gas marketing field by working on a vast range of projects that range from analyzing individual lease holdings, to proofing and editing transportation and treating contracts. He also assists with daily marketing needs and the handling of any operational issues that may arise. Through his experiences and daily responsibilities, Jonathan is rapidly building a strong foundation of knowledge and expertise pertaining to Natural Gas Marketing.

Jennifer Nowak, Office Administrator, Secretary

Jennifer has been assisting and supporting operations in the Natural Gas industry for over 11 years. Her organizational skills are unmatched. Jennifer’s role as an Administrative Assistant allows North Bay Energy to continue to better serve our clients.
